EMHS Associate Vice President, Planning and Strategy

Function in the System

As associate vice president of Planning and Strategy, Jean is responsible for supporting system and member organization strategic planning, program planning, certificate of need planning, and market research. She oversees many collaborative initiatives on a variety of topics including payment reform, program development, growth, service line planning, and population health.

The Road to Here

Jean earned a master of business in healthcare management from the Wharton School of Business and a bachelor of science in accounting from the University of Notre Dame. Jean served as vice president of Capital Planning and assistant treasurer, director of Planning, and was the director of Fiscal Services at Acadia Hospital. Over her career, Jean developed the corporate grant writing team, which supported more than $70 million in grant awards over 10 years. Jean was also integral to the development of three regional and statewide Community Health Needs Assessment studies, which have supported deeper and broader collaborations with public health and community-based agencies.
